The new alert notification system will allow us to proactively send automated alert notices from any camera that has lost a signal or is not responding to your system’s server... 24/7/365! Within minutes, alert notifications will inform you via email of any camera that has lost a signal or is not connecting to the network properly.
Who does the alert notify? By default, the alert notification will be emailed to the Camp’s main address unless other specified in the previous franchise wide announcement. ALSO, this alert will notify your Camp’s system to send automated and periodic Camera IP reboot commands.
What will the Alert include? The Ruh Roh Alert email will include notice of the camera in question, a PDF guide including steps to troubleshoot your system locally (see below), and it will simultaneously alert our support team!
What if I lose power or internet? In this scenario, we do lose the ability to communicate out from your facility and would suggest setting up these specific alerts with you Power and ISP company. However, once either of these services are restored, alert notifications will be automatically reactivated.
Can I change emails for the notifications? If you would prefer a different email address to include in these notifications, please reach out to our support team with the preferred emails you would like us to configure for alerts. Any change in email address may take up to 3-5 business days.
