Our goal is to optimize your on-boarding experience by strategically coordinating a turnkey installation with the local installation team. There are some important topics outlined below that will be discussed during your upcoming consultation call, however, we believe it is never too soon to begin the collaboration process!
Who does the installation? We have access to a national network of 3rd party installation/service personnel – we will assist in communicating installation requirements and, in collaboration with you, coordinate onsite scheduling.
Installation Time-frame: Variables such as system size, camp design, scheduling requirements, and custom requests can affect overall timeline. However, a typical installation is completed in approximately 3 days. The first day is dedicated to wiring, while the second day is typically equipment setup, and the third day is allocated for any needed troubleshooting/polishing.
Ideal Conversion vs. Potential Interruption: We do our best to stress to installers to maintain the existing webcam system during installation (DO NOT TOUCH!). This gives us the opportunity to install, test, troubleshoot, and receive final authorization prior to web links being sent off to CBWcorp for implementation… all while your customers are still viewing on your existing system! Although we try to avoid such instances, your current webcam system/online viewing can be interrupted during installation. Our team will work to minimize downtime by completing the remaining setup and online configurations as quickly as possible.
Quality Assurance Checklist: To help insure a quality install, not only will we conduct a remote Quality Assurance checklist, but we will also be providing you with a walk-through checklist to make sure everything is done to your satisfaction. The balance due to the third party installer should not be released by until:
- The install is completed to the specification of the installation guide,
- All outlined equipment is functioning properly,
- And you, the Customer are satisfied with the workmanship.
Fine Tuning Stage: After the installation is complete, our team will be proactively monitoring your system and web delivery for optimal performance. We do expect some ‘fine tuning’ needed over the following 10-15 days. The fine tuning stage can pertain to the optimization of web delivery, system performance, door chime accuracy, audio levels, etc. In addition, a follow up maintenance visit may be required on any installed item that is not performing to peak expectations.
Pet Parent Communication: Let’s work together on getting your customers excited about the upgrade while simultaneously setting some expectation during this installation period. During your consultation call, your PBJ representative will discuss with you the various announcement options… including a PDF Newsletter, social media broadcasts, and suggested staff verbiage!
